What We Believe

God

We believe in the one true and living God, that exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is both the Creator and Ruler of the universe.

Jesus

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He was crucified, died, resurrected from the dead, and ascended back to the right hand of Father in Heaven. We believe He is Lord of All and will return to the earth to judge both the living and dead.

The Bible

We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired Word of God. We believe the Scriptures to be inerrant and the final authority on all matters of faith, life, and conduct.

Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way for fallen humanity to be forgiven and restored back into a right relationship with the Almighty God.. We believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and only through faith in His blood, His resurrection and one's confession of His Lordship does one pass from spiritual death to spiritual life.

Holy Spirit

We believe that upon receiving Jesus Christ as one's personal Saviour, the Holy Spirit  indwells every true believer and immerses them into the Body of Christ. We also believe that there is a greater dimension of the Holy Spirit available to every believer by receiving what Scripture refers to as; The Baptism in the Holy Spirit. This "filling" of the Spirit is evidenced by speaking in tongues and empowers believers to walk in a greater measure of consecration, revelation, power and giftings.

Healing

We believe that through the finished work of Jesus in His atoning sacrifice that healing for the physical body was made available for every born again believer. We believe that healing is the will of God for all of His children and can be obtained  by faith through various ways as outlined in the Scriptures.

The Church

We believe that every born again believer throughout the whole earth make up the universal spiritual body of Christ. We also believe the New Testament teaches the importance and establishment of the local church. The local church is a family of believers who meet regularly to learn and grow their faith, worship together, support and serve one another utilizing each individual member's unique God-given giftings and callings. We believe the local church is the greatest divine force for good in every community.
